The Exquisite Corpse Festival is built on the model created by surrealist painters - playwrights are asked to write from a prompt, and the final work is staged. In 2011, writers were asked to write a part of a scene, but given no other prompt. My short contribution was matched with the work of Anton Dudley and Matthew Gryzbowksi. With the second Exquisite Corpse, writers were given a prompt for an entire scene. After the scenes were collected, director/artistic director/producer/jack-of-all-trades Jason Tyne-Zimmerman informed us that we had unwittingly written an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet (new title, Romeo and Juliet Drink the Young Wine). Because I am me, my scene involved two super-heroes, known as Bat-Guys, and asked for a young boy playing with two Bat-Guy toys upstage. Material was recorded with my son, Danny Bray, as the little boy. I do not know if the media made it into the final production.
